Replacing floor tiles in bathroom

We’ve had polishes white ceramic tiles put 8n with new bathroom. I hate them, they show everything. Clean them turn your back and they are back to looking filthy. And I’m not very houseproud.

So...how much hassle is it to retile a bathroom floor....?

A lot, sometimes tiles 'pop off' quite easily, sometimes they just break up and you end up chiselling every little bit off. Then there is the remaining tile adhesive - it may be possible to re-screed to level it.

Alternatively you may may able to retile on top and have a different set of issues with floor heights, doors, pedestals etc. This is what I did but the adjoining hallway was having a wooden floor laid so the floor height was not a problem.

Anticipate do a product which would go over the top. Click I think. You just need to level the floor but not remove the tiles.
