I have PRO series external connectable lights up on my roof line and in some trees at the front. They're 3 years old and have worked well. They are connected to a properly fitted external plug with a cover that snaps shut. The first connector is inside a Dri-Box (not required as the fittings are all external rated but my dad puts them up and is cautious).
This year, I want to add an Alexa plug to control the lights. It doesn't fit in the external socket with the cover snapped shut so I want to put it in the DriBox. I've only got an internal short extension cable. Can I safely use that between the protected external socket and the dribox? Or do I need to get an external one tomorrow?
