I would like to paint my UPVC door and surround as it's a funny size to replace second hand and too expensive to replace with wood.

Any suggestions on best paints to use / how to do it?

I'm hoping to do it alone / whilst standing on a chair as I am 5ft !

I'm currently in withdrawal and I think im turning a corner and want some little motivation

Thank you

I’ve not tried this myself, but have often seen French Chic recommended on this forum for painting UPVC doors. Hopefully someone will come along soon who has more practical experience with it than me 🤞

Thanks @Crazzzycat I've never heard of that I'll have a look now

There are a few different options on Amazon if you search for UPVC paint.

I have done it successfully - prime it with Zinnser Bin 123 first, then undercoat and paint as if it was like wood.

@sunday

Thanks for this, any brand you liked that you used for the job?
