We have just had the beginnings of architectural drawings for our ground floor extension. The kitchen is to be placed towards the back of the extension where no skylights or windows will be. However it will have space in front of lounge area which will have lots of velux pitched roof windows and large bifold doors. I would love a midtone to dark kitchen with copper worktops but am concerned it wont get enough light for this. Thoughts? The open plan room is 6.3m long with the kitchen taking up around the backs 3 metres.
