House sale.... what week are you on?

Ok who is in the lead for longest sale so far, I’m August 1st 17weeks in!! We can all pull our hair out together 😂

Week 23 here, 5 in the chain, should be exchanging ‘any day’ (been told that the past 3 weeks)!! So infuriating!! 😩

@mynameisigglepiggle mine did the same. didn't instruct the solicitors til their mortgage and survey were complete despite the agent begging them too. then appointed the most useless solicitors who have taken 16 weeks and counting and not even started enquiries yet so not at 6 months and the solicitor went off when she knew we had to complete before January 6th else we'd lose our property (thankfully family has stepped in to help with funds else we'd have been screwed)

Is everyone now imaging the chaos of trying to move house in lockdown with the kids off school 😅

I commented here on 21st august and still not much further on!!
Hope the rest of you have had more success!
