Bristan are very good. have you looked at their entire range, on their own website?
Taps with ceramic cartridges, especially the ones with a joystick, are more troublesome, and with some plumbing systems, high-pressure cold water can internally leak into the hot pipes.
Taps with rotating capstans or knobs are IME more durable, and a hundred times easier to maintain. This must be why they are not considered fashionable.
The "Easy-fit" taps have a sort of snap-on action that I think adds complexity and an extra potential point of failure, so I'd go for conventional fit.
