Wireless thermostat heating whilst WiFi network is down - need it to stop?!

My wife will be down for most of the day

My Honeywell wireless thermostat is now offline but the heating is blasting out

The Worcester boiler has no manual off switch and is only controllable by the wireless thermostat which is currently offline

We are melting

There must be another way?

Can anyone help? I’ve looked online and can’t find an answer anywhere

Can you not connect to the thermostat using your phones internet and turn it off that way? Or, turn the electric off and then presumably it will turn off too? Or turn the water pressure down on the boiler to reduce the heat output? Note these are guesses and I am by no means an expert!

Turn down all the radiator valves?

Do you have the app on your phone? You can use it by disconnecting WiFi on your phone I’d have thought. That’s what I do with Hive of the WiFi is down for any reason.

Turn the power to the boiler off? There should be a fused connection unit with either a switch or fuse that it’s plugged into.

Just turn the radiators off
