Small extension to the back of a terraced property

I have absolutely zero idea of what I'm looking at and I'd really appreciate getting some ballpark (min and max I'm aware it won't be completely accurate) figures to see if it's actually affordable for me before I waste a trade persons time for a quote.

I live in a standard old mid terrace with deep sills/thick walls, would love to knock through the back wall and add another 2.5 meters on to enlarge the living room and put bi-folds across the 3/4 of the back wall into the garden. So I'm estimating the full size of the extension to be 2.5m x the width of the house which is about 4m I think.

It would need electricity but no need for a radiator in the new part as the current living room has a large one already and a fireplace too.

Would anyone have any idea of a price on something like that?

Where are you regionally? London? Scotland?

I was told to estimate £1000 per square meter. I’m East Anglia, prices may vary slightly per region / builders / spec

I'm in Yorkshire @goldpendant
