I'm looking to put in a dormer roof extension next year. The loft space is already converted into bedrooms and a cloakroom, but the ceiling height is only really useable in the middle 1.5m of the room.
The extension would be around 8.5m long.
I'm trying to find a ball park figure for this, but I can only see costs to do a complete loft conversion. Obviously I won't need a lot of that as there's already a stair case, plumbing, electrics, etc.
Does anyone have an idea how much it would be per metre just to put the dormer in place? I'll get quotes obviously but just wondering roughly how much I'll need to budget as to whether it's feasible next year or will need to wait until the year after.
