Are there any areas of Harrogate to avoid?

Hi,
We're thinking of moving to Harrogate, the house market is crazy at the moment and everything is selling so fast!
We know nothing about areas to avoid in Harrogate and would appreciate some advice.
There's are a few properties we've seen near the Spring well pub.
One is one the massive new build estate on the left heading into Harrogate and the other is on the right in an area of called Jennyfields.
Thoughts?
Thanks

It’s all relative. Harrogate is very nice. The jennyfields are less nice. Still fine I think.
We looked at Harrogate but ended up elsewhere.
I use this as a dodgy measure and also the police website for crime incidence.

Do you have dcs? If you'll be looking at high schools in the near future I'd avoid the more northern areas or find religion and start going to church.

The 'good' secondary schools are all in the south side of Harrogate and the catchments don't work simply on distance. Jennyfields, parts of Starbeck and Bilton have reputations as the less 'favoured' areas so consequently property is cheaper but of course that will be the same anywhere you go and nowhere is terrible.
