Grey or white blinds

Please help me decide, DH is rubbish

House desperately needs blinds, I have a huge bay windows so I am unable to buy off the shelf. I really wanted shutters but I am unable to afford these. I have decided to go for vertical blinds with tape. Only I can’t decide between white or dark grey blinds. We have white PVC windows (I really wanted anthracite PVC but thought these would date and glad I didn’t buy them).

I have white and grey rooms throughout the house so either colour would work although I may change the wall colour in the future. White blinds could look too clinical with white walls and get dirty. I think grey blinds will look modern but again could date. First world problems but I am spending just under £1k for all the blinds so I want to get it right.

Vertical blinds wouldn't be my own choice but go for the grey, white would be too officey IMO.

Do you mean vertical blinds or wooden Venetian blinds with tapes? 🙂

I think you mean horizontal blinds, I’d go white, so you ca. Change your colour scheme in the future,

Thought so 😊 I've been having the same dilemma - my favourite is the grey but I'm going with white so I'm not restricted with colour schemes in the future

I’d go for white, much lighter.

At some point Grey will go out of fashion and that’s quite a harsh Grey. White will go with anything. Defo white.

We have plantation blinds which look great - get white, they're more neutral and the room still feels light when they're shut

White. Grey will darken the room
