Outdoor wireless security camera

Hi,

Does anybody have any views on the best outdoor security camera.

I am looking for an outdoor camera (3 camera set) which is wireless (no drilling wires through walls) and powered by a rechargeable battery. Ideally I would like to record the pictures at home rather than use the cloud.

I have looked at various reviews and most are mixed.

I would welcome any view from personal experience.

We have Ring and have had no problems.

Batteries last weeks, clear pictures. Simple to set up

Blink from Amazon. Always have offers on - join their mailing list or wait for Black Friday. Clips are stored on your phone. I think you can view them on an Alexa with a screen as it's all Amazon. Two AA batteries, and you can get inside or outside ones.

Somebody has mentioned Arlo 3 to me.

Any views on this?

Ours is cables as we would forget batteries, it records to a hard drive you can view locally or anywhere via internet app.

How would you cage the big up camera batteries?
Consider if viewing remotely as it uses loads of data.

We have Arlo - usb to charge batteries charge lasts for weeks last for weeks - dead easy to set up - can view real time anytime through the app and set alerts as required.
