Where do new buyers come from?

House has been up for 2 months, only 4 viewings and people loved it but not in a position to proceed.

We are competitively priced, a little niche, and put the link on here previously and got good feedback just timing I think, EA said the same it's just finding the right buyer.

So my question is where do the new buyers come from? Is it likely to be the new year when people start looking more, I'm thinking everyone who is looking now would surely have seen it and viewed if interested.

Just trying to get my head round how long this might take.

Thoughts please....

New buyers come from people who've just started looking as first time buyers or who have accepted offers on their own properties. I don't understand why you're asking the question.

Market is drying, people who were in a position to buy, did it this summer, because of the stamp duty, which cascaded to even FTB

I personally think the market will only perk up in spring next year, because (hopefully) covid will be behind us, or people will be free from furlough, and Brexit will be clearer.

However, I expect to see prices drop next year.
