Optimus conveyancing - any experience

Does anyone else have any experience using Optimus conveyancing?
We're selling our house through yopa and have an offer. Yopa's quote for selling is cheaper than the solicitors we have asked for quotes from by about £300 but I am a bit wary!

I hadn't heard of them so I've had a look and I think it's an estate agent etc tool for allocating work to a set of unnamed solicitors.

Personally I'd run a mile and would instruct someone you can speak to yourself. Ask around and see who local friends recommend.

Thank you for researching! Yeh I do have a niggle it might be too good to be true.

Run a mile from online conveyancers. Most seem to have a 5 working day turnaround to even look at anything let alone do anything. Pay peanuts get monkeys and all that.

Optimus isn’t an actual conveyancing firm but is a panel manager - this means they have an approved panel of conveyancers who work to set standards. They are reputable in the industry and it just means your transaction will be handled by one of their approved law firms. Nothing to be worried about!

I sold my house via Yopa in September and used Optimus....worst days work ever....I am still waiting for an exchange. I also have the impression that my buyer has also used them so a complete double whammy.
My onward purchase has now been instructed to a local solicitor who has done more in a week than other solicitors did in 6 weeks. STEER CLEAR

Nonononono
We used an online Conveyancers and it was one of the worst experiences of my life.
Our last property purchase was with a local independent solicitor and it was night and day.
