Fire in the wall

I'm looking for a fire to set into the wall (not sure of terminology?) Modern, with a glass front & no fireplace surround.

Don't need it for heat - it's for ambience. Ideally electric (no gas supply & bioethanol will be too much to run)

What is the most realistic looking? Any recommendations please? Willing to splurge if it's really good as will be used daily!

Check out opti-myst. We have an electric one of these - can be used for heat or you can just have the opti-myst on for the flame effect if you want. Works well for us in a room where we didn't want the faff of a log stove.

Ooh sorry I only just saw this.

Ours looks like a woodburner but we bought it a few years ago. The only faff is topping up the water. We've been really happy with ours... be nice if they were a bit cheaper mind!
