Office in the garage - do I need building regs?

So I recently boarded out a quarter of our detached garage to make a little home office.

Haven't added heating or any electric as it was already in.

Just plasterboard, flooring etc and changed the door to a french set to let some light in. We did open up the door space a little as my husbands a bricklayer and did it himself but we didn't move any load bearing walls.

Will I need a building regs certificate to officially keep it as an office or will I have to sell the house with it listed as a utility/storage?

Any advice welcome 🙂
