Ikea pax - can sliding doors be switched for hinged?

I've been looking online and seem to be getting conflicting info so wondered if anyone here has switched from sliding to hinged doors on ikea pax wardrobes?
I have 2 x 750 wide frames, and one of the issue I've read about is that they don't do hinged doors at that width.
Just wondering if anyone had any experience with it?
Thanks

Hinged doors come in 50cm width, so you just buy in multiples for your width (they might come in other widths but they def do 50cm so you would get hinged doors for 750cm). I can't see why you couldn't switch, the carcass is the same for hinged and sliding wardrobes.

So wouldn’t you need a 50cm and a 25cm door?

It looks there is one type that’s 25cm:

Brilliant, I had wondered about the carcass as I was sure when I bought we had to pick a frame to suit. But i have doorless pax in a different room, bought more recently, and was thinking they looked much the same

3 x 50cm doors won’t work as the middle door won’t have anything to hang on.

The 50+25 solution could work.

You could also take a look at companies like Superfronts, Noremax and Shaker Doors who do doors for Ikea furniture (mainly kitchens but some do Pax as well). Superfront for example does pairs of doors each 37cm wide so you would have four equal doors across your two wardrobes. Pricy compared with Ikea but you get a wide choice of designs and colours.

We changed to the 50 hinges, only issue we found is we had to change a wooden draw for a metal one as they sat right on the hinge in our internal set up

Great suggestions, thanks. Definitely on the expensive side. I'm thinking about getting a joiner to price up boxing them in to make them look fitted. I'd only need one side covered up with a frame and doors hung on the front. Wouldnt look perfect when doors would open as if keep the frames and all the internals as they are, but think it would give a nice neat finish to the exterior and would remove the issue of finding doors at an exact fit 🤞
