Knole sofa

Hi all
I have a lovely old knole sofa, the problem is that seat and back cushion covers are really scraggy. The rest of the upholstery is fine though.
I've tried to get matching fabric to cover the cushions but can't get anywhere near. At the moment I've got a throw over the seat cushions.
Anyone got any ideas?? I'd love to hear from you if you do.

Knoll sofas are lovely. You could go for a contrast fabric, or patchwork.
Pinterest have examples of chairs with fabric scenes placed on the backs and seats.

Yes, I did think about this. Not quite sure how it would look.
I have looked at Pinterest for ideas, however, all their knole sofas are covered in all the same fabric.
