What paint do I use?! Interior or exterior?

Just sorting out the basement in our new house and we want to paint it. The room is plastered on 4 walls apart from the arch way stone where the tv is. That's original stone that's just been painted. I can't work out if I need to use exterior masonry paint on it or if I can just slap some interior paint on it? It really shouldn't be this difficult 😂GrinHmm

I've added the Rightmove photo because it's currently a state.

The main differences between interior and exterior paints are resins and additives. The binding resins for interior paints are rigid. They allow interior paint to be cleaned easily and are stain resistant. ... To withstand extreme weather conditions, exterior paints are designed to endure

^this suggests you could use interior.
