What do estate agents do to sell house?

Put use online portals
Send out to registered customers, maybe ring some.
Look at right I’ve stats.
For sale board

Anything else?

Can estate agents tell how many people have added your property to their saved list?

Estate agents usually do viewings. Professional photos are expensive. My house took a long time to sell and, with people viewing two or three times, they did over 30 viewings.
Once under offer, their sales progressor chased frequently up and down the long chain to keep things moving.
Post survey, when my buyer wanted to drop the price, the agent spent a lot of time getting tradesmen in to confirm no major repairs were needed, and negotiating the price.
They do charge a lot of money but it can be a lot of work.

They often liaise with solicitors too to keep the chain moving. They will do negotiations for offers. They arrange EPCs/floorplans as required.

Sorry I mean to actually sell the house, not what do they do for their money haha.

What other things can they do to get viewings through the door and can they tell me more info re right move stats.

Good photos are a big factor in selling the house. Also if they have a customer who has requested a viewing at another property but decided not to proceed they will often reccommend other properties on their books.

i want to know why they waste everyone's time by not marking a property as sold! i know its a tactic they use to get people on their property list's but it does my head in!
