For anyone considering installing Westex carpets . I would urge you to find another manufacturer . I purchased a flat with very expensive `Westex carpets installed . In less than a year the pile started showing a very pronounced and marked deterioration . I called Westex expecting them to replace the carpet . Not a chance , they tried to blame the wear and unravelling of the pile on the fact that I do not wear shoes inside so It must be because I have oily feet and shuffle them whilst watching TV .what absolute rubbish
Westex are very good at taking your money but their warranty is worthless . I have had carpets that have lasted for more than 20 years . To have one that failed within a year is not acceptable
