Noise reduction windows

Hi
Does anyone have windows that are meant to reduce noise significantly? We had them installed as we live on a busy road and I can’t see that they make much difference compared to our secondary glazing.
If you have them and live on a busy road, are they any good? Thanks

We have sec glazing in one bedroom and noise reduction windows in another. Its not a busy road at night time though busy at commuter times.
The sec glazing is so much better. The only reason we didn't opt for that in both rooms is one has plantation shutters.

Thank you. I can’t bel the noise reducing ones are worse than the secondary glazing but that’s what we’ve found too. Such a waste of money

In a listed cottage we lived in it had secondary and was excellent for sound proofing but an absolute nightmare to clean. We've now bought a cottage built in the 1600s, not listed and changing the rather crap plastic double glazing which has drafts, blown panels and rubbish noise reduction to the latest glazing which should help on all fronts. Wasn't cheap though to stay in keeping with the building but am hopeful!
