New Estate agent in town. Maybe dodgy?

We are putting our house up for sale and found a new company locally where the commission rates are really good. However, they don't have many houses yet for sale, some are in other bits of the country, and most oddly, one of the employees of the company I actually vaguely know, well his family anyway. He has his own house for sale on the website but using old pictures and from what I know, they have no intention to move. So I am wondering...start up with dodgy marketing, or some kind of scam company? I am not going to use them I think as I suspect they are amateurs at least but I did wonder if this is some kind of money laundering exercise or something. Have I watched a Poirot too many?

I wouldn't go with anyone like that. Potential buyers will judge you for going with an unproven estate agents. There are a few near me that I wouldn't even bother with now, they're cowboys. You don't want potential buyers to be put off seeing your house because of that!
