Liverpool - Moving to Gateacre

Hello,

I'm planning to buy a house and liked one in Cuckoo lane in Gateacre L25 area. Currently, I live in the L15 area and have no clue about L25. I'm looking for some advice. May I know if there are any good primary schools in the catchment area of Cuckoo lane and would like to know the public transport facility such as how frequent the buses are to Liverpool city center and to Liverpool Southparkway train station, as I mostly rely on public transport. I have 5 years and 8 years old.

I'm a bit anxious about moving to a new area and leaving a few friends where I currently live. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know much about the schools tbh.

It's a nice area but the public transport is poor. You can get a bus easy enough to town but it takes a long time. You're a lot better served by public transport in L15 but Gateacre is a nicer area.

It's the kind of area you need a car in tbh.
