Mortgage valuations

If the mortgage company are charging me hundreds of pounds for a valuation survey... they won’t be doing a desktop one I assume?

Sadly, they might be. Ours was. 🥴 £350 for the pleasure & a 3 week wait from paying to it being done! Thankfully, we are buying a fairly new house so no real concerns!
