Having furniture delivered to storage unit?

We are moving our furniture into storage whilst we are between sales. I’ve seen a few bargains recently and wondered if I purchased now could I have it delivered to the storage unit? Has anyone ever done this? It’s a big storage unit place, can’t see why not...

Some storage units also offer office facilities for businesses to rent a space to use as office, as long as it has an address I wouldn’t see the problem but maybe just check with the storage company especially if you’re not going to be there

It depends on the storage company you use. Some will take deliveries and hold them for you in a separate room and then you can go and move them later. Depends how helpful they are too!

I'm sure it's possible but we've just signed our removal/ storage contract and there's a cost of £10 each time you need to access it. I would imagine unless the site is 'manned' it would be tricky to co-ordinate a delivery of furniture as most are all day deliveries.

I've done it before, choose a date that suits you with minimum an hour call before getting there.
