Leaky UPVC Juliet door

Not a very exciting thread but I’m at a loss as to how solve it.

I have a Juliet balcony door, in my loft conversion where the door opens inwards towards inside the loft room. I’ve been having ongoing rainwater ingress where the water seeps through bottom threshold/rim of door and into room and ultimately bedroom below. Extra drainage holes have been created, weather drip guard installed and none of roofer, Loft company or UPVC company can figure out how water is getting in. UPVC guy you cannot replace the rubber seals as it’s part of the frame of the door.

Has anyone had a similar/same problem and know how to solve it please? Am thinking whether to change the door into a window if the issue cannot be solved. But this will be a hassle being a loft conversion? Thanks

The most common reason is because there is no drainage in the frame.
Sometimes a builder has to drill these holes themselves when they install the doors sometime they come pre-installed but need to be opened or a seal needs to be removed. They usually look like little drilled holes on the internal, vertical part of the frame.

I have the same problem and no one knows how to fix. Has this been resolved for you? It’s becoming critical here.

Sorry just seen this. The door wasn’t aligned properly or something where it meets at the bottom where it closes. He jiggled something in that area and it appears to have fixed it
