Kitchen flooring for a blue kitchen?

I've got gloss blue/silver units (altino petrol blue) and a white worktop with off white walls. I want to enhance the blue of the units as it has a tendency to look more grey, so what flooring would you go for? Sheet vinyl for cost saving reasons

What sort of look are you after?

An oak type wood effect floor would warm up the blue. Or very modern you could go dark blue vinyl.

I like a clear fairly modern look. It's going to butt up against quarry tiling in the hallway so I was thinking stone effect in grey maybe?

Slate could be nice? We've got slate laminate that looks good. Don't get b&q though, ours had chipped in places!

weve got the altino petrol blue kitchen and we are going to go for welsh slate look vinyl as i think the dark flooring will bring out the blue, i know what you mean about it changes colour we have a south facing kitchen with big windows and the units change colour with the outside light

Hi @isseywith4vampirecats you've been my inspiration all the way through this Grin
I'm not sure about black (is your worktop black I seem to remember?) but I've found some blue vinyls at tapi which look interesting so I'm going to have a look tomorrow

what im going to do when we do look for flooring is take an off cut of my units and work top with us and match the lino to them

Misty9 · 25/10/2020 14:40

I'm now thinking darker would be good. I like the right hand side one here

i would take the protective cover off first but yes i like the darker one you have picked there

isseywith4vampirecats · 25/10/2020 15:56

this is what we went for with the tiling still needs grouting (gone for grey grout) (snail hubby, ) so i thought pale grey on the walls and in the worktop, mid grey tiling so im going next step and going for a dark grey flooring
