Hi everyone.

I'm buying a property in Glasgow and I am not quite sure if I understand the differences between Freehold and Ownership Scotland tenures. Haven't found any description in Google.

Does anyone knows what does that exactly means?

It’s just a legal term for a heritable title. Ownership is essentially the same as freehold, just the term freehold has no legal meaning in Scots law.

Ah, I see.
Thank you!
