Recommendations for moving company - North London

Hi,
We're moving from North London to Sheffield at the end of the year. There are so many removal companies out there - I'm not sure where to start! Does anyone have recommendations for a reliable moving company?

J A Steele of Enfield. They did a long distance move for us a year ago and it was fine.

I did a lot of research on reputable moving companies and made a short list and got quotes from three of them after they all came to our house to see what was to be moved. J A Steele incidentally was the least expensive (we did our own packing).

Unlike the other two companies their rep also suggested that we check with our house insurance company to see if our house contents were insured during transit so we wouldn’t need to buy theirs. We were too!

The Small Removal Company in Harpenden - I've used them twice, an initial move out of London and then a few years later a much bigger move up north. I couldn't recommend them more highly, they were wonderful, and very good value.
