Velcro or similar to attach pictures to wall?

Has anyone use sticky velcro or similar to attach pictures to the wall? Was it safe and effective? Any recommendations?

I am thinking of putting up the cheap I framed mirrors you can get from Ikea in my hallway, so I need to know they won't be knocked off the wall...

You need Command strips

Command strips are the one, I'll never hand a picture with anything else.

Ooh, thanks! Do you think they'll be safe for the mirrors in a hallway?

I think so - you choose the size by the weight of the thing you're wanting to hang, so check that.

Just use double the amount for the recommended weight of the item you’re hanging.

Thank you 😊😊😊

I wouldn't hang a mirror with them.

I hung a light weight picture. It was in a plastic frame with 'plastic' glass so it was really light.

The picture stayed up about 3 months and then just dropped off in the middle of the night. Luckily it wasn't glass.

We've used command strips for our mirror. It's held in place for a year with two kids touching it! Just use more than the recommended amount. I also stick them along the top and bottom of pictures.
