Attempting to fix dishwasher - after advice!

Hi all, my slimline Bush dishwasher has stopped working. I've cleaned all the filters etc and checked hoses and all seems ok. It starts, runs for a few minutes then stops. I then have the issue of having to scoop out all the water from the bottom of the machine (oh joy) After a bit of research one of the issues that keeps coming up is it might be motor? I can't find a replacement motor for my machine. Before I go down the wretched route of replacing it has anyone got any other ideas? Thank you so much. Wondering if @PigletJohn is still on here (praying!)

You could try putting some bleach in the bottom, let it sit for half an hour and then pour crazy hot water down. Mine did the exact same thing and the outlet pipe was clogged with bits of food yuck. The pump stops working after a bit if it cant get the water out.

it could be the drain pump stopped working, strangely things get stuck in the fan such olive peep.
try a quick trick, maybe off putting unscrew the outlet pipe and give it a good few blows to reverse the fan and unblock it.
or switch it on and see if the water exit from the outlet pipe into a bucket.

Take the pump apart as they often get clogged with food etc.
Look at videos on Youtube.
Has it got a pressure switch for the water level?
A good spares place might have a motor from another brand thats identical
This place has an excellent spares department and will post

the waste hose might possibly be clogged with tea leaves and cods heads, especially if it connects to the sink waste with an incorrect run.

pull the hose off the drain, and lie it down flat on the floor, with the end in a bowl. Does water run out?

I just had my motor replaced because very similar thing happened; it seemed to start and i could hear it filling but when i opened it the rotor arms weren't going and there was a bit of an odd smell in the cupboard it's next to, so I had someone out and he confirmed the motor had burned out (I had already checked the filters etc). it works fine now.
mines a Beko and was installed by the previous owner.
