Decorating novice here! We want to redecorate the bedroom but the skirting boards and door frame have layers of bumpy paint on them and the window sill is coming away from the wall. I can’t face sanding them as it’s clearly years of paint and they are coming off the wall anyway, the walls could also do with replastering but who do you call to do that work? Would a decorator do it?
