High Barnet area to live

Hello, we are considering some areas In Essex and also maybe High Barnet as its on the tube line. Anyone from HB can tell me more about the high street and commuting from there and which parts good to live. I know it’s on the northern line and also on train line, is it a reliable service? Thank you

I live one stop from High Barnet. The train line is reliable. Despite that, I don’t know High Barnet very well. Totteridge & Whetstone, Woodside Park and West Finchley are the next stops from High Barnet. Nice with access to greenery and parks.

Expensive for what you get. I'd stick with Essec
