My buyers have had their detailed survey and I have agreed a small reduction in selling price. But I'm still waiting to get my homeowner survey done and my vendor is getting extremely antsy. Its been a month since my mortgage was approved in principle. The survey is being arranged by my mortgage lender as they need a valuation done. I keep pressing my mortgage advisor and he just says there's a backlog for the surveyors.
Anyone else experiencing this? I feel very frustrated as I can't seem to do anything to speed it up. Even if I arranged a survey separately they would still need a valuation done.
