We're thinking of moving to Matlock and I'd love to get views from anyone who lives there/nearby/knows it well.
Does anyone know the best parts of it to live in? And areas to avoid?
We're spending a weekend there soon to suss things out in detail. Anything we should particularly do, or areas we should particularly drive past or walk through? We only really know it from holidaying there.
I want to be able to walk to the town centre (within 20 mins maybe) so not looking for a nearby village that's too remote. I am interested in other towns like Wirksworth though, too.
