Moving to Ash/ Sandwich from London

Hi, this is a massive move for us so would love to hear from others who have done this / locals who can give insight into life in the beautiful countryside close to both Sandwich and Ash. We have 2 kids (13 and 16 when we move properly) thanks in advance!

Both very different to London! Very different pace of life and will be very quiet. Ash is more a collection of houses (although is an area they are using to build new homes). Sandwich is quiet and old. Not much going on entertainment wise. Some good days out with kids near by, and Canterbury is close. Sandwich tech secondary always used to be considered a good non grammar and some very good grammars near by. Personally they were too quiet and out the way for us, we chose a small village 10 mins out of Canterbury for best or both worlds.
