Offer accepted - so excited

Just had an offer on the house we want accepted. So so so excited. Our house took a while to sell, so we hadn't looked in a while. Got an offer on our and went to view all in the area in the price range.

Only put this house in for completeness and it is the total opposite of what we were looking for. It is very modern, single store with sedum roof, slightly buried in to the ground. We wanted traditional with features!

But as soon as we walked in we knew it was the new home for us.

Tomorrow is for plans and practicality but tonight is just for excitement.

Yay, me too! Congratulations OP!

We also took a little while to sell, but we had an offer accepted today on a house that we love. I'm a little scared now that it's finally actually happening and become a reality!

Onwards to the complications and delays of conveyancing, but for tonight it's celebrating with fizz time!

Congratulations both - so exciting - we are a few weeks in so just going it all continues smoothly for us.

Good luck and congratulations to you too Fennel. Any hold ups so far? I keep hearing about major delays with mortgage offers, surveys and searches?

Good luck! We are several months down the line from your position and I still feel that excitement! Everything moves soooo slowly

Ooh that's great, Op!
I wonder what did you love about it - just shows how important an open mind is!

We love the space, the light and the flow of the house. It is also completely private, no road noise and no-one looking into the garden (or us being able to look into other peoples - my neighbour sunbathes a lot and I always feel intrusive, even though he probably doesn’t care)

So exciting! We’re a couple of weeks further down the line and I’m still so excited. We’re buying the forever home! I just hope it all goes smoothly for you (and everyone!). We put in our mortgage application a week ago and had to supply more documents but otherwise haven’t heard anything yet. We think we chose a good solicitor and she seems to be very efficient. We hope to be in by Christmas. Good luck!
