Bank Transfer or Debit/Credit card payment for Garden Room company

I'm paying 25% for a garden room that a company agreed to build for me. They gave me options to pay by bank transfer or debit/credit card. Which option should I choose in case of uncertainty?

Credit card offers the most protection

Credit card, don’t do bank transfer if you’re unsure. Usually think with credit cards there’s an added insurance

I’m sure there was a thread on here a couple of years ago about a family that bought from here, and it was a catastrophe. Can’t remember the exact details, but I’ll try and find it for you.
