Online bathroom shops - recommendations/any to avoid?

We are looking at buying our bathroom suite online to try to keep costs down. Does anyone have websites they recommend/do not recommend? We bought a DIY kitchen last year so if there was a bathroom company similar that would be great!

Victorian Plumbing have been really good for us

Better Bathrooms were pretty rubbish though

I'm doing this at the moment and have been shopping around as the same items from different suppliers can vary loads in cost! Most of my stuff is arriving this week so can't comment yet on delivery/customer service but have put some notes below incase helpful..

So far have ordered from:
Victorian Plumbing
Seem ok so far, website is easy to navigate and despatch times seem relatively ok. I got towel rails and the various valves, shower trays and taps from here.

Aqva
Got a great deal on our shower screens from this website, huge discount compared to Victorian Plumbing for the same brand/style. I have also ordered our bath via here.

Ebay
I've ordered our showers via Tradetaps on ebay. Really competitive on price and have been v efficient on communication and postage. The ones I wanted (Grohe) were really long wait times on Victorian Plumbing but these have been despatched day after purchase! I think they look great for toilet sets too, our builder is ordering ours unfortunately as I'm pretty sure the exact same (grohe system plus rak toilet) is cheaper via Tradetaps than he has quoted us.

Has anyone used Lusso Stone for sinks/taps/shower/toilet?

They say they give trade prices and do seem to have nice styles for a reasonable price - not super cheap, but compared to other similar products. But they're a less well established company so am a little worried about how good their service/support will be. They also sometimes don't answer the phone.

Don't use British Bathrooms, their prices are good but the service is shocking

Thank you everyone!

www.doblebathroomsdirect.com/

I used this company 7 years ago and liked them. I actually saw the suite I picked in a bathroom showroom near me but it was £4500. I think Doble was around £2600 and offered free delivery because I spent over £1000. There was an issue with the sink and they sent a new one 2 days later.

@NWnature did your things arrive ok from Aqva?
I am looking at ordering something from them but am apprehensive due to mixed reviews online...
TIA

NWnature · 12/10/2020 20:12

Hi @bumpertobumper yes they have arrived ok- I haven’t actually opened the shower trays yet but the bath I ordered came very quickly. I did have to email customer service about changing the size of one of the shower trays and they seemed ok!

Thanks @NWnature
Good luck with the new bathroom - I'm sure it will be lovely!

Victorian Plumbing were fine for us.
