House for sale with a second agent

Can anyone help with this query? A few weeks ago I viewed a house, really liked it but my house was not under offer so I wasn’t in a position to have a second viewing and make an offer. I am now in a position to have a second viewing and potentially put in an offer but during the last few weeks the owners have moved from the agents that I viewed the house with to another agent. What is the etiquette here, I can’t go back to the original agent as they are no longer listing the property. Do I just go via the new agents or contact the owners directly?

I would either go to the old agent or directly to the owners. It’d be a bit unfair for the new agent to get the commission if you buy it.

If the old agents introduced it they will still get the commission, even if you continue the process via the new ones. Call the new ones and ask them, how they share commission is not somethin you should worry about.

(I mean do mention that you viewed previously).

I changed agents when I was selling and queried this as I was worried I would pay two lots of commission if a previous viewer came forwards. She said if it came up, they would negotiate splitting the commission with the original agent.
