Hi all, we are due to complete on Friday, new build so empty house, are moves happening as normal in local lockdowns? I'm getting really nervous our area will be put in one or even a national one with the way the media is going on atm! Would you be concerned?

We moved and was fine. Rules allow people providing professional services to come in to the house (only social visits not permitted) so movers had no problem and neither did any of the workmen we've had in the house since. All went smoothly and I don't think there was anything out of the ordinary.

We moved during the first one and it’s allowed. You just need to open up your house windows etc for the movers and follow the guidelines. You might get charged more for all the extra precautions.

I moved during the national lockdown, so you should be fine!
