Moving a gas meter

I want to redo our kitchen but our gas meter is in our corner unit with very messy pipework.

The design weve gone for at ikea just won't be doable with that there. How much is the rough cost is this to get moved?

If we can get it outside, (so the opposite side of the wall) it would be moving less than a meter away. What are the rough costs other people have paid?

Our move inside to out was about £900 , that didn't include putting the gas meter box into to the brickwork or gas engineer work to go from new meter to boiler. That was all part of other works so not sure how much that was.
