My drive in our new house has been better days, probably in the 80s 🤣

So I'm looking to get a new drive out in but I know nothing of the types I can choose from and I'd like to do a bit of research before calling up companies

I'm not overly fussy about the look, the main thing top of my list would be minimal weeds. Though currently mine is a cracked and old cement pour job type and ugly as sin something but nicer to look at would be a bonus

I keep and eye out of other peoples drives as I tootle about in my car and I notice the ones with brick type drives as pretty as they are have weeds coming up between the joints and would need regular weeding which I loathe and have little to no time for

Any ideas what would work for my drive??

I’ve seen actual tarmac driveways but that’s quite unattractive. Resin gravel seems fairly popular these days and it’s solid so you wouldn’t have any plants coming up.
