I'm trying to keep the cost as low as possible but I really don't have a clue how much it would cost. My DP can do most of the work himself but has left me to come up with ideas on how I would like it so it's just the cost of materials really. I want to get rid of the tiles and just have a backsplash possibly. A few of the doors are peeling so new doors required. The worktop is fine. I want the extractor fan replaced as it looks very dated although it's built in so will probably be a little difficult. The oven and job is fine. Would like a new sink. Flooring is the bane of my life it shows up absolutely everything and I could mop 4 times a day so planning on new flooring which will probably just be laminate. Colour wise I'd like it neutral so probably grey or white doors.

Photos attached. Does anyone have a similar size kitchen they wouldn't mind sharing photos of? And cost so I can get a rough idea? I'm really not looking for top of the range, just average.

I just got a quote for someone to paint the doors and it was £650 so I think for that price and the fact they're not in the best condition and wouldn't be my choice of doors, I think I'll just go for new doors.

i think the best thing you can do is look at each companies offerings to get an idea f what look you want for the doors ie gloss, matt, shaker painted wood, then refine from there one persons perfect ikea or DIY doors are someone elses nightmare, splashbacks the same once you have decided on your look then the splashback will follow to co-ordinate with it, we got rid of our extractor as we got rid of the hob so no idea on prices there , sinks the same thing depends what you want our stainless steel sink and mixer tap was just over a hundred pounds, our kitchen isnt much different in terms of size to yours we bought, units, doors, worktops, sink from DIY kitchens gloss that was five double base units and four wall cupboards and total cost was £3000
