We are considering houses in below areas,
Any opinions or other nearby suggestions for towns with god transport to London, good schools etc would be appreciated.

Telford Drive, Walton-On-Thames
Rectory lane, Byfleet
St John, Woking
Horsell, Woking

I don’t know the places well enough to comment. However, if you want another suggestion, then the Sutton area is great (esp South Sutton, Cheam Village, Carshalton Village/Beeches). Excellent schools, leafy with coutryside on the doorstep. Zone 5 for commuting with trains into Victoria, London Bridge and St Pancras. House prices probably quite similar to the places on your list.

I know Woking, St Johns and Horsell both nice.

Horsell is a fantastic place to live. Great village community, schools, pubs, little high street, local country walks. But also very convenient for Woking shops and facilities and the regular fast trains to London. It is the best of both worlds.
