A very boring thread about wheelie bin storage...

I need to find a triple bin store. It needs to go in the front of the house so the nicer looking the better.
The area where it's going is a bit wooded so I want something that ideally isn't going to stand out like a sore thumb. Thought I'd solved this with a rattan one from Vida XL only to see in the small print:

Note: It is recommended to cover the product during rain, snow or frost

Which is kind of the point of an outdoor wheelie bin store....
Anyone found anything nice lately?

@DrCoconut

I've learned my something new for the day Grin It would never have occurred to me that I needed storage for my bin. It's bad enough finding suitable units for the house.

I wouldn’t have bothered normally but I park my car in front of the side gate where the bins come through. This worked well until I changed my car for a much bigger one. Now I have to move the car to get the bins out so figured it’s probably easier in a store in the front.

Added to that most of our garden is at the front so probably makes more sense to have the garden waste bin where it’s easier to get to anyway.

We do yes. Recently dropped on a boat on Facebook so we’ve been doing that up over lockdown as well. It’s about 14ft in the middle at present, but it’s a natural spring fed pond so it rises and falls anyway.

Hexy what an absolutely beautiful garden you have, your weeping willow is stunning.

We stash our bins at the front at the bottom of part of the drive and I was looking to screen mine in, I was looking at the triple ones but they are ridiculous in price but we are time poor otherwise we would make one too.

Is there no local handyman who could knock one up for you?

Thank you. We call it the whomping willow in winter as it smacks the pond quite violently if its really windy 😁

I've had a look on marketplace and cant see anyone locally advertising anything, there are a few a bit further out but to be honest their prices are comparable to the few I posted above so probably wouldn't save us that much.
The guy that loves behind us is pretty handy carpentry wise, but he's also very slow and ideally I'd like it this side of Christmas lol

You might want to get something to shield him too. Wink
