Undermount sink

Hello all,

I am planning to fit a quartz kitchen worktop and replace my sink with an undermount sink.

I'd like to stay clear from traditional stainless steel sinks as in the past I had a bad experience with limescale on a Franke sink. I live in a hard water area.

I like a coloured (gunmetal) stainless steel undermount sink. It seems only Caple sell it but I can't find many reviews about this. Is anyone familiar with this type of sink? Lots of people vouch on stainless steel sinks and if the coloured version works, it would be the obvious choice but I can't find anything online to give me comfort to go ahead. Would the coloured stainless steel sink be more susceptible to scratches and reveal the true colour of stainless steel after a while? Would anyone know whether the colour comes off over time?

OR

a composite sink e.g. Blanco Subline Silgranit Paradur - do you think I would need to look into additional support to bear the weight of this heavy sink? or a Schock Granite/Composite sink

Has anyone got any experience of these?

Thanks!

I have a white undermount sink and I hate it.

It never looks clean and mould grows in the surface/sink join that is impossible to get to.
