Homebuyer protection insurance

Has anyone purchased a homebuyer protection insurance covering the upfront cost for buyers in the event of vendor pulls out? Any recommendations? It's not as popular as other insurance products so can't find much info on comparison websites.

I don’t have any recommendations I’m afraid, but I am very interested to read some replies as I was considering the same thing.

Ditto! Can you get one that covers Covid delays? Worried about another local lockdown causing more problems...

I've purchased it and im in the middle of buying. It has very niche protection criteria but for something like 60 pounds it could save ££££s

I purchased mine through the home owners association website hoa.org.uk/

You may be able to ask your solicitor if they recommend one. That way they may even help you if you have to claim.

That's annoying, I didn't actually know this existed and would've used it if I had!
