Hi, has anyone ever approached their land lord about potentially buying their rented property. I live in a beautiful two bed house the minute I viewed it I fell in love with it.. I was curious to know if anyone has ever successfully bought their rented house. Thanks

I did that! It was being sold to a local landlord, but the sale fell through so we put an offer in. Just be very thorough if you want to buy it, and make sure you get full surveys. You never know what has been covered up cheaply.

I'd love it if my tenants approached me to buy the house they rent. The only reason it isn't on the market is because they've been good tenants and I don't want to put them through the stress. Even if I didn't want to sell I wouldn't mind.

Just make sure you have an idea of value.
